This Pork Pie 8" x 14" Patina Brass Snare Drum is a stunning, unique drum with a design that will make an audiences eyes glow. It's made of a 1mm-thick all-brass shell, and is finished with an oxidized patina that both changes the sound characteristics of the drum and makes it look really cool.

This drum offers a warm blend of overtones that are accentuated by lower tunings, resulting from the patina process on the already-warm-sounding-brass. The more complicated surface doesn't just look cool - it also makes the drum sound deep and full!

The hardware is chrome, to accentuate the more matte-colored patina surface, and the triple-flanged hoops accentuate the shell material by letting it ring freely. The throw-off and butt plate are also smooth and easily adjustable, further adding to the drum's portability.

 This drum comes equipped with Pork Pie branded Remo drum heads for a warm, versatile tone, meaning it's ready to set up and play right out of the box.
